Narrative:
Assigned 250 KTS for climb. Above 10000 ft I inadvertently accelerated to 265 KTS when ATC asked my speed. Realizing my error I increased my climb and reduced power to reach 250 KTS as assigned. Controller gave us a 20 degrees or so right turn. No conflict implied, no comments by controller.

Narrative: ASSIGNED 250 KTS FOR CLB. ABOVE 10000 FT I INADVERTENTLY ACCELERATED TO 265 KTS WHEN ATC ASKED MY SPD. REALIZING MY ERROR I INCREASED MY CLB AND REDUCED PWR TO REACH 250 KTS AS ASSIGNED. CTLR GAVE US A 20 DEGS OR SO R TURN. NO CONFLICT IMPLIED, NO COMMENTS BY CTLR.
