Narrative:

Holding for WX at NAS when the right engine oil pressure gauge started to fluctuate. Proceeded back to mia direct and landed without further problems. Upon landing I was advised by ATC that the right engine was smoking. I shut down the engine at that time and the smoke dissipated immediately. No sign of fire. WX was also becoming a factor at mia.

Title: FLC OF SAAB SF340 RETURNED TO LAND AFTER OBSERVING THE R ENG OIL PRESSURE FLUCTUATION. UPON LNDG TWR CTLR ADVISED OF SMOKE COMING FROM THE R ENG.

Narrative: HOLDING FOR WX AT NAS WHEN THE R ENG OIL PRESSURE GAUGE STARTED TO FLUCTUATE. PROCEEDED BACK TO MIA DIRECT AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER PROBS. UPON LNDG I WAS ADVISED BY ATC THAT THE R ENG WAS SMOKING. I SHUT DOWN THE ENG AT THAT TIME AND THE SMOKE DISSIPATED IMMEDIATELY. NO SIGN OF FIRE. WX WAS ALSO BECOMING A FACTOR AT MIA.
