Narrative:

On very short final starting in the landing flare, a sharp gust hit the aircraft and radically increased the bank angle. The bank went from 5 degrees to about 15 degrees. I rolled it back and called for go around. As it got back to about a 9 or 10 degree bank, I felt the right main touch. This happened at the start of go around. The go around was uneventful. On return for landing everything operated normally. The thrust reversers also worked normally. On postflt inspection a scrape on the bottom of the #1 engine was discovered by the flight engineer.
