Narrative:
While taxiing for takeoff, another aircraft told ramp control smoke was coming from our aircraft. After visual verification, evacuate/evacuation was ordered. Evacuate/evacuation checklist was completed, and aircraft was evacuate/evacuationed in 75 seconds. 98 passenger, 6 crew members. After aircraft was towed to gate (later in evening), mechanics boarded aircraft and changed confign.

Title: B737 CREW HAD AN EMER PAX EVAC AFTER SMOKE WAS RPTED COMING FROM THEIR ACFT.
Narrative: WHILE TAXIING FOR TKOF, ANOTHER ACFT TOLD RAMP CTL SMOKE WAS COMING FROM OUR ACFT. AFTER VISUAL VERIFICATION, EVAC WAS ORDERED. EVAC CHKLIST WAS COMPLETED, AND ACFT WAS EVACED IN 75 SECONDS. 98 PAX, 6 CREW MEMBERS. AFTER ACFT WAS TOWED TO GATE (LATER IN EVENING), MECHS BOARDED ACFT AND CHANGED CONFIGN.
