Narrative:

I was en route mdw-dec. While cruising at an altitude (either 6000 ft or 8000 ft). I fell asleep and woke up 1000 ft lower. I immediately climbed back to my assigned altitude. ATC said nothing to me about it. I plan on getting a job that will allow me to sleep at night instead of the daytime or to get a night job where I'm not flying alone and have a lighter schedule.
