Narrative:

The F16 split from another aircraft flight. Our sector was told by the previous sector that they were going to stay together. After the split, I attempted to turn the F16 for traffic but he did not respond. I tried a second time with no reply. I finally got his attention and told him to turn right. He replied that he had the other aircraft in sight and was maintaining visual. I told him to expedite the turn which he did not do. I did not have a guard frequency at my sector which may have gotten his attention sooner.
