Narrative:

On jul/sat/98, I was flying in the pattern at 6b6, alone in the aircraft. I was on final for runway 21 and realized I was going to be short of the runway. I applied full power, however, the plane contacted the ground approximately 50 ft short of the runway, in a marshy area. After contact with the ground, the nose gear collapsed. The incident occurred at XX45. The damage that resulted to the aircraft does not constitute an aircraft accident as defined by the NTSB rules part 830.
