Narrative:

Vibration followed by jolt to the right during takeoff roll. Takeoff uneventful, but suspected blown out tire in right main gear. Called dispatch and maintenance and checked with tower for debris on runway (none found). Proceeded to destination (lax) and coordinated to have emergency equipment standing by the runway (runway 25R lax) and advised and coordinated with flight attendants to prepare the cabin for possible rough landing and evacuate/evacuation. Landed uneventfully and taxied to the gate at lax. Right main gear found out of position to the right due to shimmy dampener failure. Good coordination between cockpit/cabin crew, company dispatch and ATC.
