Narrative:

After receiving landing clearance from buffalo tower, acknowledgment was made. During taxi in tower wanted to know why we did not acknowledge landing clearance. We later found out microphone was working intermittently. Supplemental information from acn 406941: captain acknowledged clearance. Tower again cleared us to land and captain again acknowledged clearance. Tower questioned why we did not acknowledge clearance. Discovered microphone transmitter was stuck.

Title: A LNDG CLRNC ACKNOWLEDGMENT WAS NOT RECEIVED BY BUF TWR FROM THE MD80 FLC. ON TAXI IN CTLR QUERIED THE CREW AS TO WHY NOT.

Narrative: AFTER RECEIVING LNDG CLRNC FROM BUFFALO TWR, ACKNOWLEDGMENT WAS MADE. DURING TAXI IN TWR WANTED TO KNOW WHY WE DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE LNDG CLRNC. WE LATER FOUND OUT MIKE WAS WORKING INTERMITTENTLY. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 406941: CAPT ACKNOWLEDGED CLRNC. TWR AGAIN CLRED US TO LAND AND CAPT AGAIN ACKNOWLEDGED CLRNC. TWR QUESTIONED WHY WE DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE CLRNC. DISCOVERED MIKE XMITTER WAS STUCK.
