Narrative:

Our flight air carrier X was marshalled out of parking spot in a poorly lighted ramp onto taxiway C2. When ground was contacted the taxi instructions were 'taxi to runway 18L via C1 for C1 intersection takeoff.' I consulted the airport analysis book, and could not find takeoff data for C1. I informed the captain of this while he was taxiing the airplane an additional 100 ft and noticed the runway white lights ahead. He stopped the airplane short of the runway 18L white line. Tower and ground were on the same frequency. The controller instructed a training flight on a 4 mi final to go around. The controller then asked if we were on the runway. I answered that I thought we may be. With further inspection we were short of the runway. The controller gave us further instructions to 'cross runway 18L and taxi to runway 18L full length.' we then departed without further incident.
