Narrative:
Approaching zaske on the eau 3 arrival at 11000 ft with clearance to 9000 ft we noticed traffic on the TCASII at -500 ft and about 3 mi followed shortly by a TA followed shortly by an RA which required a pull up to about 3000+ FPM rate of climb. As I followed the RA further separation from the traffic was not evident, ie, the traffic stayed at -500 ft until clear of conflict was announced and the traffic passed directly below the airplane symbol on our TCASII. I nor the first officer did not see the traffic but I have to estimate the miss distance at 500 ft according to the TCASII.
