Narrative:

While descending in slc for landing we experienced light rain and chop. There were thunderstorms in the vicinity and lightning was visible in the distance. Passing 12000 ft we were either hit by lightning or a static discharge. We experienced a bright flash, physical thump and ozone odor. Neither pilot had temporary blindness but we both had spots in our sight for some time. We exited the rain and made an uneventful landing. There were no aircraft system affected and postflt revealed a delamination of the nose radome.
