Narrative:

Departed gup airport at our void time of XX15 local. Made 3 attempts to contact ZAB. By time we made contact we were past the VOR through 10000 ft MSL. Center advised we were past our void time. It was XX20 by the time we were in contact with ATC. The controller doubted that we had departed by XX15. According to my watch and the first officer, we had not violated our void time. When the controller handed us off to the next controller, I asked if any action needed to be taken. He said no, but doubted our story. Once again, we departed at XX15 at our void time.
