At FL230 #3 flight attendant called about strange noise in aft left cabin. Sent first officer to investigate. Heard noise also. Called to reduce left throttle. Left hydraulic pressure low light came on and stayed on regardless of throttle position. Completed appropriate checklist. Light went out. Hydraulic quantity dropped 2 quarts. No further loss noted. Landed uneventfully. Had crash crew inspect aircraft for leaks. None noted. Taxied to gate normal.
