Narrative:

The question is whether or not I worked 7 days in a row. The first month I was based on salisbury, md, and voluntarily bid to move to tampa, fl. This move was to be effective the next month. I was scheduled to work through the last week in salisbury and start the next week in tampa -- leaving me with 1 day to get to tampa. Initially the company, a commuter airline, said it was up to me to get to tampa on this one day for an early report on the next day. When I called scheduling on the day before to set up my 'courtesy' must ride pass for salisbury to tampa, the scheduler said I would not work on the last day of the first trip because that would be 7 days of work in a row. She was treating my deadhead to tampa as a day of work. On that day I checked in and deadheaded to tampa. I flew my trip. On the third day I was called by the scheduler who initially said that my deadhead would not be a day of work. She said she was reassigning me to my trip on the last day because the deadhead was not a day of work. She said the chief pilot said it was not a day of work and I was to fly on the last day of the trip. I flew the trip on the last day. Technically this makes 7 days in a row, even though the company said it was not.

Title: AN ACR FO WAS IN THE PROCESS OF XFERRING TO A NEW BASE OF OPS AND WORKED 7 DAYS IN A ROW ON DUTY WITH THE COMPANY.

Narrative: THE QUESTION IS WHETHER OR NOT I WORKED 7 DAYS IN A ROW. THE FIRST MONTH I WAS BASED ON SALISBURY, MD, AND VOLUNTARILY BID TO MOVE TO TAMPA, FL. THIS MOVE WAS TO BE EFFECTIVE THE NEXT MONTH. I WAS SCHEDULED TO WORK THROUGH THE LAST WK IN SALISBURY AND START THE NEXT WEEK IN TAMPA -- LEAVING ME WITH 1 DAY TO GET TO TAMPA. INITIALLY THE COMPANY, A COMMUTER AIRLINE, SAID IT WAS UP TO ME TO GET TO TAMPA ON THIS ONE DAY FOR AN EARLY RPT ON THE NEXT DAY. ON THAT DAY I CHKED IN AND DEADHEADED TO TAMPA. SHE SAID THE CHIEF PLT SAID IT WAS NOT A DAY OF WORK AND I WAS TO FLY ON THE LAST DAY OF THE TRIP. I FLEW THE TRIP ON THE LAST DAY. TECHNICALLY THIS MAKES 7 DAYS IN A ROW, EVEN THOUGH THE COMPANY SAID IT WAS NOT.
