Narrative:

Crew was cleared to cross tammy on marvel 1 arrival at mem at 10000 ft. Crew could not descend in time to make the restr at mem 227 degree radial, 40 DME. Captain was flying and later stated he'd underestimated the distance and descent necessary to make crossing and that he would have requested relief from the restr.

Narrative: CREW WAS CLRED TO CROSS TAMMY ON MARVEL 1 ARR AT MEM AT 10000 FT. CREW COULD NOT DSND IN TIME TO MAKE THE RESTR AT MEM 227 DEG RADIAL, 40 DME. CAPT WAS FLYING AND LATER STATED HE'D UNDERESTIMATED THE DISTANCE AND DSCNT NECESSARY TO MAKE XING AND THAT HE WOULD HAVE REQUESTED RELIEF FROM THE RESTR.
