Narrative:

Initial descent to stl airport. The captain was on #2 radio to get the ATIS. During that time I was monitoring #1 radio (in contact with ZKC) I never heard anything. 5-10 mins later, the captain called stl approach which gave us another kansas city frequency. We contacted them and they told us to call stl approach. No further incident. After landing, our company dispatch advised us that ZKC had called about us.

Title: AN MLG CARGO CHARTER FLT RUNS OUT OF COM WITH ZKC. CREW CALLS STL APCH AND GETS ANOTHER CTR FREQ. ALL THE CTR WANTED WAS FOR THE CREW TO CONTACT STL APCH CTL. ZKC HAD CALLED DISPATCH CTR.

WE CONTACTED THEM AND THEY TOLD US TO CALL STL APCH. NO FURTHER INCIDENT. AFTER LNDG, OUR COMPANY DISPATCH ADVISED US THAT ZKC HAD CALLED ABOUT US.
