Narrative:

While level at FL370, center advised us to descend to FL350. I read back the appropriate altitude, however, I placed FL330 in the altitude alerter. We were busy due to thunderstorm avoidance and the captain descended to FL330.

Title: A LEAR JET 24 FO SETS IN THE WRONG ALT IN THE ALT ALERTER. THE CAPT DSNDS TO THAT ALT INSTEAD OF THE ALT THE FO READ BACK TO ATC.

Narrative: WHILE LEVEL AT FL370, CTR ADVISED US TO DSND TO FL350. I READ BACK THE APPROPRIATE ALT, HOWEVER, I PLACED FL330 IN THE ALT ALERTER. WE WERE BUSY DUE TO TSTM AVOIDANCE AND THE CAPT DSNDED TO FL330.
