Narrative:

Just cleared for visual for runway 17C when TCASII gave RA. 2 mi same altitude. No traffic alert from controller. First officer flying was looking for traffic. I called localizer alive. He corrected to intercept immediately, but overshot to extended airport centerline. No apparent traffic conflict and no advisories from controller about traffic or overshot. Uneventful approach and landing. Flight conditions were clear, excellent visibility, and all aircraft lights on.
