Narrative:

We were pushing back from our cargo ramp. Our company issued parking diagram showed that we would push back on our ramp with no need to call ground control. I was monitoring the engine starts as we pushed back. During the push, I looked up and noticed that the tail of the airplane was entering taxiway a at mco. I immediately notified ground control that we were pushing onto the taxiway and apologized for not calling sooner. He said no problem and gave us clearance to continue onto the taxiway. An air carrier cargo airplane behind us later complained to our chief pilot that we did not get clearance onto the taxiway and slowed his taxi progress. This problem was caused by the fact that the tug crew pushing our aircraft was not doing what was shown on my parking diagram. He did not inform me of the non standard pushback. By the time I realized we were going to enter the taxiway it was too late. With the proper information and better communication, I could have avoided this problem.

Narrative: WE WERE PUSHING BACK FROM OUR CARGO RAMP. OUR COMPANY ISSUED PARKING DIAGRAM SHOWED THAT WE WOULD PUSH BACK ON OUR RAMP WITH NO NEED TO CALL GND CTL. I WAS MONITORING THE ENG STARTS AS WE PUSHED BACK. DURING THE PUSH, I LOOKED UP AND NOTICED THAT THE TAIL OF THE AIRPLANE WAS ENTERING TXWY A AT MCO. I IMMEDIATELY NOTIFIED GND CTL THAT WE WERE PUSHING ONTO THE TXWY AND APOLOGIZED FOR NOT CALLING SOONER. HE SAID NO PROB AND GAVE US CLRNC TO CONTINUE ONTO THE TXWY. AN ACR CARGO AIRPLANE BEHIND US LATER COMPLAINED TO OUR CHIEF PLT THAT WE DID NOT GET CLRNC ONTO THE TXWY AND SLOWED HIS TAXI PROGRESS. THIS PROB WAS CAUSED BY THE FACT THAT THE TUG CREW PUSHING OUR ACFT WAS NOT DOING WHAT WAS SHOWN ON MY PARKING DIAGRAM. HE DID NOT INFORM ME OF THE NON STANDARD PUSHBACK. BY THE TIME I REALIZED WE WERE GOING TO ENTER THE TXWY IT WAS TOO LATE. WITH THE PROPER INFO AND BETTER COM, I COULD HAVE AVOIDED THIS PROB.
