Narrative:
Turned to outbound radial at rka on rka 1 arrival. Combination of 15 degree angle of bank and stiff wind put us a couple of mi off course. ATC called traffic 9 mi, co-altitude. Correction back to outbound radial was increased and flight continued without incident.

Title: FLC OF A SUPER MD80 FAILED TO INTERCEPT THE OUTBOUND COURSE OVER A VOR ARR FIX DUE TO WIND DRIFT AND TOO SHALLOW OF A BANK RESULTING IN ATC WARNING OF A POTENTIAL TFC CONFLICT IF NOT CORRECTED. CORRECTION WAS MADE AND FLT CONTINUED WITHOUT INCIDENT.
