Narrative:

I was flying, captain, level at FL240. Left frequency to make final PA. First officer didn't tell me about crossing 10000 ft at leena. We had been having trouble getting changeover data that day so when I came back he had gone to company frequency. I asked for lower shortly thereafter. Was told about crossing. Started descent and told center we wouldn't make crossing. Told to do our best, missed crossing by 2-3 mi. Uneventful afterwards.
