Narrative:

I have this C172RG on standby for any part 135 flts that I might get. The engine hoses (oil and gas) were not changed by the repair shop that maintains the plane for me. At the end of the 5 yr term since the engine overhaul they did have the propeller overhauled. They then returned the aircraft for service. Another shop that did a 50 hour service for me stated the hoses were past the 5 yr term and I had them changed. I thought hose changing was only required at engine overhaul, not 5 yrs like the propeller.
