Narrative:

Preflight and taxi out normal (deferred maintenance item left thrust reverser inoperative). On takeoff roll, cockpit was unusually noisy at 100 KTS. At approximately 130 KTS the captain's window flew open and takeoff was rejected. Rejected takeoff accomplished without incident. Captain's window appeared to be closed and locked during preflight and verified during before start checklist. Upon return to ramp, window was inspected by maintenance with no defects noted. The captain's window lock was never physically pushed to ensure that it was completely locked. It is not listed in our procedures to physically push this handle to ensure that it is in the completely latched position. In the future, I plan to physically push this handle to ensure it is fully latched.
