Narrative:

We conducted a flight from iad to day on feb/xa/98. The flight was conducted without incident. We landed at day on runway 24L and exited at the end of the runway. We were cleared to the ramp with tower. We did not receive a specific taxi routing or hold short instructions. We proceeded northeast on taxiway east, missed taxiway D, turned north on runway 18/36, then west on taxiway B to the ramp. We questioned tower whether or not we had hampered airport operations. Tower replied that we had not. The active runways at the time runway 24L/right, runway 18 (please see map at end of statement). This occurred because the captain and I were discussing proper landing technique pertaining to my landing. Missing taxiway D could have been avoided if we had delayed this discussion to the post brief.
