Narrative:

Arriving from the west, approach assigned east side runway 17C. Called the runway on base and were cleared for the visual to runway 17C and to turn final over the marker for noise abatement. Checked in with tower and were cleared to land. I read back runway 17C. On about 1.5 mi final an unknown aircraft told tower that the aircraft he had cleared to land on runway 17R was lined up on the center. I confirmed runway 17C with tower and he cleared us to land, again, and did not say anything else. Called tower supervisor after landing and he did not know about it at all. Controller said there was no problem.
