Narrative:

I was just at the start of my shift and relieved another controller and his trainee at the combined radar and handoff position sector 93. During the relief briefing I got confirmation from the radar controller that an aircraft holding for unv had current WX and NOTAMS for unv completed his approach and landing and canceled his IFR flight plan. The aircraft later called back and advised the airport was a mess with large chunks of stuff all over the place and not to let anyone else land, as he had bent both propellers. Subsequently, the pwrs that be closed unv airport.
