Narrative:

I was on downwind for landing runway 6R when a bonanza from the flight school slipped directly beneath our aircraft. He was about 50 ft below and overtook us from behind. Never once did he seem to change his flight path or avoid our aircraft. The control tower informed the bonanza to widen his downwind for traffic about 2 mins prior to him crossing underneath us. One contributing factor was probably the fact that he was a foreign student and did not understand what the controller was saying very well.

ONE CONTRIBUTING FACTOR WAS PROBABLY THE FACT THAT HE WAS A FOREIGN STUDENT AND DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE CTLR WAS SAYING VERY WELL.
