Narrative:

On application of takeoff power, #2 engine spooled faster than #1 causing aircraft to start skidding left. Unable to control slide with either nosewheel steering or brakes due to icy runway. Control regained with differential reverse to bring aircraft to center of runway. Taxied off runway at intersection and subsequent takeoff made uneventful with slower application of power, after proper checks. Runway was plowed only in center section.
