Narrative:

Passenger near miss report. Altitude FL350. ATC facility: unknown. Location: bce. While flying from ZFW to lax I received a message to call soc when I landed at lax. When I called he said that tv news in dallas had received a call from a passenger on flight XXX, my previous leg, that we had experienced a near miss 1 hour after takeoff from sfo with a jet. I told him that at that time we were in southern utah and had seen several aircraft pass 2000 ft above and below us both visual and on the TCASII, but had not received any TCASII TA or RA. I also told him that we had an ATC controller from palo alto in the jump seat if he needed any further verification.
