Narrative:

While on a vector from phoenix TRACON at 4000 ft MSL we were responding to an RA from the TCASII. We deviated from altitude by 700 ft up. We were asked about the deviation, but were not given the opportunity to respond to the controller and advise him of the TCASII warning and subsequent near miss.

Title: A CPR FLC IN A C750 HAD AN NMAC WITH ANOTHER CESSNA WHILE BEING VECTORED BY APCH CTLR. THEY REACTED TO THEIR TCASII'S RA.

Narrative: WHILE ON A VECTOR FROM PHOENIX TRACON AT 4000 FT MSL WE WERE RESPONDING TO AN RA FROM THE TCASII. WE DEVIATED FROM ALT BY 700 FT UP. WE WERE ASKED ABOUT THE DEV, BUT WERE NOT GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO RESPOND TO THE CTLR AND ADVISE HIM OF THE TCASII WARNING AND SUBSEQUENT NEAR MISS.
