Narrative:

Upon clearance out of FL370 we initiated a descent. Flight level we were cleared to, I thought, was FL320 which was unusual. I asked for clarification prior to reaching. A response was given as affirmative. Prior to crossing FL330 the captain requested that I clarify again. I asked for confirmation to FL320 and was then told to level at FL330. The captain immediately leveled off at FL325 and then commenced a climb back to FL330. No comment was made by ATC, and no traffic conflicts noted.
