Narrative:
When taxiing away from the terminal towards runway 1R or 1L on taxiway a there are no signs for taxiway east. When given instruction for taxiway east it is difficult to follow these instructions unless you are familiar with sfo. If the airport authority/authorized at sfo could put in a taxiway east sign as you are heading towards the east on taxiway a it would make operations at sfo run smoother.
