Narrative:

Flight from hpn to cgf. Departed runway 34. Clearance was westchester 9, radar vectors eliot -- subsequent routing and an initial altitude of 3000 ft. A few seconds after takeoff we were instructed to contact departure control, which we did and for a very brief time received no response. Then, departure called as if she had been trying to reach us. At the same time we heard a second controller giving us instructions. Within a few seconds, and by 2 controllers, we were given instructions to expedite a climb to 3000 ft, 2 heading changes and a frequency change, now! Given the tone in the voice of one controller, we did not know if we had missed a communication or had blocked a transmission. Given our perceptions, we tried to follow the most immediate instructions of the controller. No reasons for these immediate changes were given, no conflict ever idented and to the best of my knowledge none occurred. The flight continued without incident. Possible contributing factors: 1) may have been a blocked transmission. 2) a momentary delay in compliance may have resulted due to 2 controllers giving instructions at the same time.

Title: FLC OF CPR LTT ON SID IS GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS BY 2 CTLRS AT SAME TIME, WITH VARIOUS HDG CHANGES AND FREQ CHANGE 'NOW.' NO TFC INDICATED OR SIGHTED.

Narrative: FLT FROM HPN TO CGF. DEPARTED RWY 34. CLRNC WAS WESTCHESTER 9, RADAR VECTORS ELIOT -- SUBSEQUENT ROUTING AND AN INITIAL ALT OF 3000 FT. A FEW SECONDS AFTER TKOF WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO CONTACT DEP CTL, WHICH WE DID AND FOR A VERY BRIEF TIME RECEIVED NO RESPONSE. THEN, DEP CALLED AS IF SHE HAD BEEN TRYING TO REACH US. AT THE SAME TIME WE HEARD A SECOND CTLR GIVING US INSTRUCTIONS. WITHIN A FEW SECONDS, AND BY 2 CTLRS, WE WERE GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS TO EXPEDITE A CLB TO 3000 FT, 2 HDG CHANGES AND A FREQ CHANGE, NOW! GIVEN THE TONE IN THE VOICE OF ONE CTLR, WE DID NOT KNOW IF WE HAD MISSED A COM OR HAD BLOCKED A XMISSION. GIVEN OUR PERCEPTIONS, WE TRIED TO FOLLOW THE MOST IMMEDIATE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE CTLR. NO REASONS FOR THESE IMMEDIATE CHANGES WERE GIVEN, NO CONFLICT EVER IDENTED AND TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE NONE OCCURRED. THE FLT CONTINUED WITHOUT INCIDENT. POSSIBLE CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: 1) MAY HAVE BEEN A BLOCKED XMISSION. 2) A MOMENTARY DELAY IN COMPLIANCE MAY HAVE RESULTED DUE TO 2 CTLRS GIVING INSTRUCTIONS AT THE SAME TIME.
