Narrative:

No substantial damage. No report to NTSB required. During cruise, the WX abruptly changed. After exploring all possible routes out of the WX, and considering continuation into IMC and requesting help from ATC, I opted to make a precautionary landing. The coming darkness inhibited view of the terrain below. I made a landing in a pasture. The ground was soft and sloping and the left gear collapsed resulting in the other gear collapsing and causing a propeller strike.

Title: PVT PLT RUNS INTO UNEXPECTED WX WITH DIMINISHING DAYLIGHT. ONLY OPTION OPEN WAS TO LAND IN A PASTURE WHERE THE LNDG GEAR COLLAPSED, DAMAGING THE ACFT. PLT WAS NOT INST RATED.
