Narrative:

Frequency 118.5, 7000 ft, tus approach, 10 NM north tus. We were on final to runway 11L at tus. Approach cleared us to 7000 ft and advised us of single engine traffic. Nearing 7000 ft we received a TA, followed almost immediately by an RA commanding a 1500 FPM climb. TCASII showed traffic 300 ft directly below us when RA was issued. Captain climbed immediately and I advised approach that we were climbing in response to a TCASII RA. Neither of us ever saw the traffic.
