Narrative:

Passenger was walking up aft stairs and tripped over locking mechanism located in front of seat 2A. Ankle began hurting. Perhaps this locking mechanism can be enclosed, relocated, etc, to prevent (further) injuries. No charges filed at this time. No medical attention. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the person shown as the reporter is the supervisor of the unknown reporter and is taking steps to correct this misunderstanding by the company's cabin attendants. She did investigate this incident and she said that the passenger would have to put a foot well under the seat in order to contact the mechanism. She said that the passenger was not injured actually and the supervisor did not see how the locking mechanism could be a hazard.
