Narrative:
On a late handoff for a visual we apparently interfered with local traffic in the pattern which we did not see or pick up on TCASII. In the future, I will not accept a handoff as late and probably steer more towards a full instrument approach.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: FLC OF EMB120 RECEIVES A LATE HDOF FOR A VISUAL APCH. THIS PUTS THEM IN CONFLICT WITH LCL TFC IN THE PATTERN. EVASIVE ACTION REQUIRED.
