Air carrier X climbing off pdx to lkv. Air carrier Y in level flight from lkv to btg at FL280. Air carrier X requesting FL330. Both aircraft issued vectors to avoid. Larger turns would have corrected the situation.

Narrative: ACR X CLBING OFF PDX TO LKV. ACR Y IN LEVEL FLT FROM LKV TO BTG AT FL280. ACR X REQUESTING FL330. BOTH ACFT ISSUED VECTORS TO AVOID. LARGER TURNS WOULD HAVE CORRECTED THE SIT.
