ATC facility: ZKC. Location: irk. Passed irk on heading 090 degrees on bradford arrival. Continued on this heading as unsure if cleared for arrival or still on heading. Queried controller. He thought we were cleared for the arrival. Deviated east of arrival routing. Supplemental information from acn 386400: this was a result of my failure to correctly prioritize the duties and distraction in the cockpit during that time.
