Narrative:

While on radar vectors in IMC conditions approaching ILS runway 23R tys, the GPWS aural and visual warning 'pull up' was displayed and heard. At the time of occurrence, aircraft altitude was approximately 2700 ft descending at approximately 150 FPM and cleared to 2500 ft. Evasive action was taken as per pom. Communication with approach controller terrain clearance. Approach continued to normal landing. GPWS item entered in maintenance logbook. Atl chief pilot notified.
