Narrative:

Short final runway 21C dtw, gear was extended. The right main green light did not illuminate, but there was no red 'unsafe' light. After a go around, the manual was consulted, and cockpit lighting turned up, along with the master warning light switch. With that switch in bright, the gear light functioned normally, and the approach was resumed, and the landing accomplished.
