Narrative:

At 1000 ft on departure from sjc we had a bird strike. The bird hit the left side of the aircraft then went through the #1 engine. All engine indications were normal so we continued on the departure. I contacted dispatch and they checked with maintenance duty control to see if they wanted to continue to our destination or go somewhere else. We all agreed to continue and maintenance scheduled an inspection upon arrival. The inspection at the destination revealed that we had 1 blade broken and a few blades bent. The aircraft was taken OTS for repairs.
