Narrative:
Training flight from dab to iad. I was in left seat giving IOE to new aircraft check airman. At FL330 we were given a descent to cross 85 mi south fak at FL270. I programmed the FMS explaining to student the steps involved. We then got involved with other training issues and missed the restr by 3000-4000 ft. In the future I will dispense with training conversation until descent clrncs are clearly made.

Narrative: TRAINING FLT FROM DAB TO IAD. I WAS IN L SEAT GIVING IOE TO NEW ACFT CHK AIRMAN. AT FL330 WE WERE GIVEN A DSCNT TO CROSS 85 MI S FAK AT FL270.
