Narrative:
I received my IFR clearance and called ground for taxi. They said 'taxi to active runway and hold short at taxiway east.' I started out of the abc ramp and was looking for taxiway marking that I was exiting the ramp onto a right turn. No signs exist. As I started to turn onto the right I was called and advised I was on taxiway east and in front of xyz cargo 1/2 mi to my left. As I taxied on down to the end of runway at the end of the taxiway was a lone taxiway east sign. I returned that day and checked and there is no other sign anywhere on taxiway east. I don't know what good a taxiway east sign is at the end of a parallel taxiway.

Title: C501 PLT COMPLAINT ABOUT MISSING TXWY SIGNS DENOTING TXWY E AT CAK ARPT. GND CTLR HAD ISSUED CLRNC TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY AT TXWY E. RPTR WAS ON TXWY E BUT THERE WERE NO SIGNS UNTIL APCHING THE RWY. NO DEV FROM CLRNC, JUST A SIGN PROB.
