Narrative:

Flight attendant #2 came up from lower lobe galley and went directly to the cockpit to get oxygen. She said there were asphyxiating fumes coming from lower lobe galley. Flight engineer went down to the lower lobe galley and confirmed her report. An unscheduled landing was made in tpa. 10 flight attendants went to a local hospital, were treated, and deadheaded home next day. I have never been informed as to what the problem was.

Title: DC10 ACFT HAD FUMES IN LOWER LOBE GALLEY THAT RESULTED IN FLT ATTENDANTS BECOMING ILL. FLT WAS DIVERTED AND FLT ATTENDANTS TAKE TO HOSPITAL. UNKNOWN CAUSE.

Narrative: FLT ATTENDANT #2 CAME UP FROM LOWER LOBE GALLEY AND WENT DIRECTLY TO THE COCKPIT TO GET OXYGEN. SHE SAID THERE WERE ASPHYXIATING FUMES COMING FROM LOWER LOBE GALLEY. FE WENT DOWN TO THE LOWER LOBE GALLEY AND CONFIRMED HER RPT. AN UNSCHEDULED LNDG WAS MADE IN TPA. 10 FLT ATTENDANTS WENT TO A LCL HOSPITAL, WERE TREATED, AND DEADHEADED HOME NEXT DAY. I HAVE NEVER BEEN INFORMED AS TO WHAT THE PROB WAS.
