Narrative:

Aircraft was OTS for #1 engine (lack of power). Engine fail light came on during idle. Several panels were removed to check rigging of throttle controls. These were documented on a maintenance turnover to next shift. Next shift fixed problem and released aircraft. Wasn't found until afternoon shift, turnover was disregarded and panels were never reinstalled. One panel was on upper engine pylon. Aircraft flew 3 legs before problem was addressed.

Title: A MAINT TECHNICIAN RPTS THAT DURING #1 ENG REPAIR ON AN FK10 SOME PANELS WERE REMOVED. THESE PANELS WERE NOTED ON THE MAINT TURNOVER SHEET, BUT THE SHEET WAS NOT USED BY THE NEXT TEAM, APPARENTLY. UPPER ENG PYLON NOT VISIBLE TO FLC ON WALKAROUND INSPECTION.
