Narrative:
Flying to halls, tn, my information was a fly-in. I don't attend air shows, but when 10 mi out, called on 122.9, no answer. Tried other frequencys, nothing came back to me, kept trying. When about 1 mi out I could see a lot of planes flying close to the ground, and I felt sure what I was looking at was an air show of sorts, so took a heading for the next field -- dyr and landed there. I feel if we have a fly-in or air show, why no one is at the (door). Someone could come back to me and say keep out or come in. Truly I heard no call.
