Narrative:

Because of conflicting flight numbers filed with japan oceanic and ZOA, we were dropped out of the system when entering oak airspace and we encountered WX at the same time requiring us to make a cleared WX deviation. We used company procedure (calls on 121.5 vhs, altitude change, TCASII) to avoid possible traffic. No known conflicts. This event was followed up with oak oceanic and company dispatch to help resolve future problems.
