Narrative:

After holding at macey on the macey arrival, we were vectored for downwind for runway 26R atl. We were then told to expect runway 27L, and vectored to a modified base leg. As we turned, controller tells me to increase rate of turn. I disengaged autoplt to increase turn and almost instantaneously, we get TCASII warning (traffic). Traffic warning goes to RA very fast. TCASII instructs us to descend. I follow TCASII command to approximately 6100 ft. The controller then tells us to climb. TCASII gives clear of conflict. We climb to 7000 ft and are vectored to downwind for runway 26R landing.
